FAQ
What is that all about?
RealWebReport was designed to get a quick analysis of a web site, gathering essential information about its content and some other important data.Who can use RealWebReport
Anyone, it's free. Then why should I register?
Only registered users can comment on sites and analyze the new ones. What information about domains can I get from RealWebReport?
First, all meta information including title, meta description and keywords, if available. Second - words and phrases in tags. Keep in mind that our analyzer is not only working with common tags like <h1> or <a>, it finds ALL tags i.e. user described as well. RealWebReport shows you all the links and their anchors from the page. It delivers you full HTTP header information and robots.txt file, if one exists. After checking IP address it shows you geo location using Google Maps API. If your site has significant traffic rate it shows Alexa trafic trend graph. Finally, our analyzer is trying to determine the site orientation by finding repetitive words and phrases and producing the tag cloud.I can't add my site! Why so?
First - check if you are logged in. Second - check the spelling. Third - your site must have unique title, otherwise it won't be added. Page size must be at least several KB (there must be some text to analyze).
How can I remove my site from your database?
Add the following lines to your robots.txt file:
User-agent: truewebreport
Disallow: /
Submit your domain name into this form:What is Keyword Tag Analysis?
The table in the left part of the page that shows keyword statistics - the total number of occurrences of each one-, two- or three-word keywords and number of those occurrences in the detected HTML tags.
What does Advanced Search mean?
The full-text advanced search capability supports the following operators:
+ A leading plus sign indicates that this word must be present in each row that is returned.
- A leading minus sign indicates that this word must not be present in any of the rows that are returned.
* The asterisk serves as the truncation (or wildcard) operator. Unlike the other operators, it should be appended to the word to be affected. Words match if they begin with the word preceding the * operator.
The default operator for multiple word searches is OR, i.e. it will return all the records that contain ANY of the words you are looking for.
I can't see certain data (geo location, traffic rank, meta information etc.) concerning some domains. Why?
Missing meta information indicates that site web-master simply didn't use it. Sites with low traffic won't produce Alexa graph. Sometimes we can't identify server location by IP address. Not every site has robots.txt file as well.
